NRL to SASS:
Transportation and Handling
The E-Logbook system was developed by the LAT Integration and Test Team to record the results of all integration activities and operator runs executed on the LAT. E-Log stores both I&T shift logs (browseable by calendar date), as well as operation and data collection logs (searchable by runID). E-Log also records all connector mate and demate operations, component installation events, and material mix records. The integration and handling records provided in this EIDP were generated from the E-Log database.
E-Log has two interfaces, a Web-based interface which allows browsing of shift logs and querying of operation and data collection runs (see the List Runs link), as well as an installable client version, which can be used to access shift logs, run logs, and all mechanical and electrical integration records. For more information about the installable client version of E-Log, consult the most recent E-Log tutorial. Release information and a link to client software downloads and installation instructions are provided at the E-Logbook site.
Assembly and Inspection Data Sheets are the master records of LAT electronic and mechanical integration and test activities. The AIDS define the overall procedural flow for a particular activity, often citing additonal test procedures and process flows, or portions of those procedures and flows.
All signed and redlined AIDS for the LAT development project are archived at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. A manifest of the complete set of LAT AIDS and electronic copies of the source documents are provided here.
For reference, the execution log for the Mechanical AIDS is enclosed.
For reference, the execution log for the Electrical AIDS is enclosed.
E-Log is used to record all component installation and mate/demate events, as well as material mix records. The following logs and reports were generated from E-Log.
The following logs document the installation date of all LAT components, indicating the drawing number, component serial number, and AIDS associated with the installed component. The logs specify which operators and quality control personnel were involved in the installation.
SIU, EPU, PDU, GASU, Harness Interface Box, Heater Control Box
CAL and TEM/TPS Installation Logs
ACD and X-LAT Plate Installation Logs
+Y Radiator and -Y Radiator installation are in progress as of the LAT Pre-Shipment Review. The radiator installation logs will be available immediately following the installation.
LAT Sys, LAT Tower and ELX Assembly MMRs
A complete record of all connector and cable mate and demate events is stored in E-Log, and can be accessed using the E-Log instalable client application. Release information and a link to client software downloads and installation instructions are provided at the E-Logbook site.
