The LAT Power Rack provides functionality that allows operators to: Generate and independently control the regulated power feeds (the DAQ main feed, SIU feed, and VCHP feed); generate and independently control the unregulated power feed (anti-freeze heaters feed); select from primary and redundant feeds; overvoltage and undervoltage protection; modify the set points and trip points for each of the feeds; prevent blackouts, brownouts, and surges from reaching the flight electronics; and, remove power from flight hardware in case of emergency.

The LAT Control Rack provides functionality that allows operators to: select between an internal clock (20 MHz) and an external clock; set the external clock to two preset values (18 MHz and 22 MHz) and an arbitrary value; set the external trigger rate to an arbitrary value; operate the LAT through the External Test crate (the “backdoor”) using LATTE or LICOS; operate the LAT through the Virtual Space Craft (VSC).
