CGI Installation
The installation of cgi only requires the installer to execute ~iepm/v3src/cgi-bin/cgisetup followed by performing a
copy the contents within the existing cgi-bin directory (~iepm/v3src/cgi-bin) into the recognized cgi-bin directory.
The recognized cgi-bin directory is typically located at /var/www/cgi-bin on our Monitoring sites.
Installation is as follows:
cd to ~iepm/v3src/cgi-bin
execute cgisetup
copy the contents of ~iepm/v3src/cgi-bin into /var/www/cgi-bin (or your personal location of cgi-bin)
create logical link to the IEPM perl module
For our example, the command would be: ln -s ~iepm/v3src/utils/IEPM /var/www/cgi-bin/IEPM
At this point, all of your available CGI's are configured an ready to use. The installer should then test the scripts from the
main results page for your site to verify the CGI's are properly functioning.
