INFORMATIONAL

LONGNAMETRUNC 'Value greater than allowed length'

A name, such as a translation string, contained more characters than is recognized by MPS subsystems. For instance, a translation string is permitted to be less than or equal to 60 characters - those from the 61st character onwards will be ignored.

STPDBSTATESEQ 'SVNM or SCNM of MPST same as MPST PROT value'

The value of either the SVNM or the SCNM secondary of an MPST primary, is equal any one of the values of the MPST's PROT secondary.

MPSTISSPARE 'MPST not populated with real stopper name'

An attempt to translate a MPST global stopper name into its real (local) stopper name was made, but the db unit number of that MPST gave rise to a blank real stopper name, or a stopper name whose primary value was 'NONE'. This indicates that the MPST unit number in question is in the db as a spare to be filled in later.

FILEDEL 'MPSL compiler deleted corrupt output file'

Following a bad file write, the MPSL compiler deleted the file it was trying to write to. It does this because the file may be corrupt for MPS use and the safest thing to do is delete it immediately, so that it can never be used.
