Constituent: readline Tag: sun-gcc

Package GRL and in particular constituent readline are indeed based on the standard GNU readline distribution. The problem has been that readline is not presented symmetrically on all the computers we wish to use. This is a very ad hoc solution whereby we took the readline distribution, did minimal editing on it to shoe-horn it into a CMX package and thus distributed readline symmetrically as a CMX package.
- Warning:
- Please take the "minimal editing" seriously. No attempt has been made to "clean up" the code. This becomes evident when this package is compiled. Expect to see many compiler warning messages (but no errors).
