EMSG_test() - A embedded system based test suite for the emsg_mt constituent

EMSG_test()

Description

Calling the entry point EMSG_test() starts a series of tests of the emsg_mt (message, multi-threaded) constituent of package EMSG.

The test generates copious output, all classifed pass/fail. Note that the last section of the test appears to "hesitate". In this phase, the test is running many tasks in parallel, each task emiting messages at a furious rate (it's called the "shotgun" test). If the output pauses here (usually about ten seconds for each of two shotgun tests), this is normal behaviour.
