Aetron Blume and Atkinson Reports, 1961-1966

Early studies leading up to and supporting the April 18, 1957 formal proposal for a two-mile accelerator at Stanford University were performed by a Project M study group on campus, by the Utah Construction company, the Bechtel Corporation, and the University of California Radiation laboratory (later the Lawrence Radiation Laboratory.) The joint venture Aetron-Blume-Atkinson (ABA) – comprised of people from the Aetron Division of Aerojet-General Corporation; John A. Blume and Associates, Engineers; and the Guy F. Atkinson Construction Company – also completed studies related to the proposed project.
