Versions available of Viewlogic's Powerview are 6.1 and 6.0, as well as 5.3. The easiest way to call Powerview from a UNIX prompt is with the relevant alias. See aliases.
Environment variable 'WDIR' must be set to include a writable working directory and two standard directories, as follows (for version 6.1):
setenv WDIR '$HOME/viewlogic:/usr/cad/slac/standard:/usr/cad/pv61/standard'.
This statement can be included in one of your startup login files.
