A sub-group of the Operations group got together to talk about inprovements to the E-Log system. Notes were kept on the TLOG and reproduced here.

Issues fixed with tricks of the trade:

In browser window, when you want to go to a new page, click with shift 
and the desired page comes up in a new window.

Issues outstanding:

(4)Having title field be uniform length is difficult due to varying font 
size. Best practice not to lock the font size on browsers.

Forbidden -- Some scheme such that long entries are preserved and 
recoverable.
Entries take too long to arrive.

lost.




Printing issues:

Need to refresh print queue without destroying entry text (done).

Control of apearance sequence for multiple page print entries, including 
title name box.
Make turn-key the business of ELOG rotate (rotator in entry page).
Loss color scheme when printing DM2K (CUD) from EPICS CUD control print.
TFB GUI 3D plots don't show up.
TCL get print queue 1-2-3-4-5
Too long to appear in print queue.
