R. BRINKMANN** (DESY)
The superconducting linac approach towards a next generation e+e- Linear Collider combines a high power transfer efficiency with excellent beam quality, yielding optimum performance in terms of the achievable luminosity. This paper summarises the overall design and the present status of R&D for the TESLA 500-800 GeV Linear Collider facility.
