Babar end of year Events begin with an Analysis School scheduled for Sunday, October 25th Friday, October 30th, 2009.  The emphasis will be on practical analysis techniques and tools, with lectures on BaBar Physics and Detector Physics.  The program will also include working on assigned exercises with assistance from instructors and experts.  Graduate Students and New PostDocs are encouraged to participate.


The B-Factory Legacy Book Project is planning a kick-off workshop to be held at SLAC on October 30-31.  The purpose of the workshop is to evaluate the project status and to start the organization of the writing phase.  All interested BaBarians are welcome to the workshop. Contributors to the book are encouraged to attend.


The Collaboration Meeting will begin on Monday, November 2nd and end mid-day on Thursday, November 5th.  The primary focus of this meeting is preparation for the winter conferences.

Registration alone will not avoid the higher registration fees.

You are encouraged to use the Guest House for your stay during the Analysis School and Collaboration Meeting.  A block of rooms have been held for Babar until September 15, 2009 at the rate of $83 per night. Please mention Babar Meetings when making your reservation.
