LSST: I am working on camera hardware development and data analysis for the Large Synoptic Survey Telescope (LSST) project. I have studied photometric redshift issues for eventual LSST sky data, work on developing the camera instrument model and the cryostat vacuum system, and I am running a system to qualify materials for the telescope camera.
Quasars and Galaxies: Using existing radio, gamma-ray, and optical data sets I am developing new analyses of the luminosity evolution of quasars, blazars, and starforming galaxies, and their implications for the radio and gamma-ray backgrounds.
CRB: I am also pursuing modeling and further observation of the newly discovered Cosmic Radio Background. This includes design, fabrication and analysis projects in the Kuo experimental cosmology lab, and with the ARCADE collaboration.
