Aside from these two hotels, Monterey and its vicinity have a host of hotels, motels and inns to suit a wide range of prices and preferences. However, the local tourist season will be at its peak during the time of the Conference. The Toyota Grand Prix of Monterey will take place the weekend before the Conference which is followed by the Monterey Jazz Festival the weekend after. Therefore it is ADVISABLE to make reservation well in advance to avoid problems with securing lodging for the Conference.
