When the work for this report started, the PDG did not yet include the 2013 precise Belle τ lifetime measurement [2]. In order to obtain the most precise and up-to-date lepton universality tests, we computed and used an updated τ lifetime average. In this case, the HFAG procedure does not improve the PDG average with additional information or technical treatment and we obtain the same result as PDG 2014 [73] (see Fig. 1) by doing a standard error-weighted average. With respect to PDG 2013, the uncertainty is now reduced by a factor two.
