1) Dalitz plot analyses are beginning to be common in both BABAR and Belle. There are a number of issues surrounding such analyses: a) Is it too late to suggest common conventions for DP amplitude definitions and other issues which will facilitate combination of results? b) What will we do about quoting branching fractions from DP analyses? Strictly speaking the branching fraction is not defined once one is doing full DP analyses due to issues surrounding overlap regions. My own opinion is that it would be foolish to not derive some kind of quasi-2body BRs, even if the definition is somewhat arbitrary. These Q2B BRs are of considerable interest to the theoretical community and it would seem bizarre to me to take the point of view that we can only provide BRs when we have datasets that are too small to do proper DP analyses. c) If we find structures in the DP that are not listed in PDG, what do we do about listing such results? After all, there is much that isn't clear in pipi and Kpi spectroscopy below 2 GeV, especially for S-wave. I believe it's clear that a contribution needs to be added to DP fits to account for experimentally observed features such as the f_x(1500) KK enhancement. It's less clear what we should do about listing BRs to such states which are almost certainly some combination of missing or poorly understood resonances with unknown quantum numbers. The rare sub-group thinks it useful for HFAG to consider this and to urge the spokespersons of CLEO, Belle and BABAR to help form a committee of people interested in DP analyses to address these issues and make recommendations. This should happen as soon as possible - it is already a bit late.
