CKM Constraints from B to rhorho Decays:
Winter 2004
The constraints presented on this page are obtained from the BABAR measurement of the CP asymmetries (Slong,Clong) of the longitudinal component in the B0 to rho+rho- decays.
  • Compilation of experimental inputs used for the plots below:

    • Compilation of results on B --> rhorho CP asymmetries, branching fractions and longitudinal fractions (references).

  • In the (rhobar,etabar) plane:
    Confidence levels in the large (rhobar,etabar) plane obtained from the isospin analysis.

  • On alpha:

    Constraint on alpha obtained from the isospin analysis. The result of the standard CKM fit (rhorho not included) is overlaid. Also shown is the present uncertainty on penguin contribution in B to rhorho decays (hatched histogram).
