Topcites 2000 Edition Top Cited Articles, from the E-print archives

Based on data from the SPIRES-HEP Literature Database, SLAC Library

All time topcited nuclear physics papers

The topcited nuclear papers of all time

There is some difficulty in precisely identifying nuclear physics papers, in the modern sense of "hadronic physics" in the SPIRES database (which of course, only follows papers in high energy and particle physics). The following list is drawn from the DESY keywords "nuclear" and "nucleon" the and nucl-th eprint archives. This gives us over 17,000 articles.

Naturally we might have missed something, but the deadline for recounts has already passed.
