HEPNames Corrections
To update your information in HEPNames, simply search for your name and then click the
update button.
Updates are not automatic, they are emailed to
hepnames@slac.stanford.edu,
so if you can't get something to work, simply email us at that address.
More About Your Record:
- Your record should include your full first name and middle initial
in order to locate
fall your papers in the HEP database (and no papers that don't
belong to you). Let us know which entries to delete.
- Quite often people's names are not written in HEP in a consistent way
(see here
for further details), which makes the match between HEP and HEPNames
problematic (and also makes it difficult for people to find your
papers). We will be very happy to work with you on fixing this, just
send email to
hepnames@slac.stanford.edu or look at how you can
help us with your name.
- Many affiliations do not match the
Institutions database. They
should be the same as your entries in HEP. This is how we create
"country" searching.
- We are now tracking
Ph.D. information. This is how we create "student" searching.
If you want to have your students listed just use the update button
on their records if they are already in HEPNames, or
add a record if they are not.
