Electronic Recordkeeping: An Introduction
Abstract
This paper begins with a brief overview of records and archival
management before the advent of the electronic era; then describe the
ways in which the definitions and constructs of archives and records
management have been altered in the electronic environment; and
outlines the various approaches to the challenges of electronic
recordkeeping that are currently being investigated and applied.
