Keyword Search

Using this box searches several database fields at once so it provides the broadest search coverage. Select keywords carefully to produce a manageable search result. Examples of search terms are:

Photographer Search

Most photographs in the Archives' collection have been taken by the following photographers. If you are not sure of the photographer, it is best to leave this box blank.
  • Faust, Joe
  • Lynch, Harvey
  • Muffley, Richard
  • Nakashima, Tom
  • Zawojski, Walter

Content Date Search

You can search with any of the following date formats.
  • yy (e.g., 84)
  • ccyy (e.g., 1984)
  • m/yy (e.g., 6/84)
  • m/d/yy (e.g., 6/4/84)
  • mm/dd/yy (e.g., 06/04/84

Negative Search

Use this box if you know the SLAC assigned number for the SLAC image you seek. Formats include:
  • m2294
  • mc0147
  • 3037
  • arc100

Citations Search

Use this box to enter keywords from the title of a publication which contains the SLAC image you seek. 

SPIRES Command Search

If you are familiar with the SPIRES find command, you can use this box to put in your SPIRES searches.
