Karachi

Olivier Martin, Roger Cashmore & Les Cottrell flew from Geneva around 8:00am through Zurich and Dubai to Karachi on Saturday 21st June, 2001 on SwissAir. We arrived in Karachi airport around 10:30pm. We stayed at a Western style hotel, and on Sunday morning were picked up by a guide, Shagnawaz Akhter of the Karachi Nuclear Power Complex, and his driver. They took us to see Islamic tombs about 27km outside Karachi to the East, to an Air Force museum and to a place we could see and buy carpets. We left for Islamabad around 4pm.
