Dr. Cottrell:

The State Department has finally cleared your travel to Pakistan.  They
asked me to communicate to you that they are only clearing you to do the
work that was stated on your 1512 trip request and in the e-mail you sent me
on May 18.

I also want to make sure that you are aware of the travel advisories
regarding Pakistan.  I have faxed them to Lita Campanilla at the SLAC travel
office to be passed on to you.
