The only version available of the PADS Perform product is 6.02. The easiest way to call PADS from a UNIX prompt is with the relevant alias. See aliases.
The same alias works for either SunOS 4.1.3 or for Solaris 2.5.1, so there is no need to be aware of which OS is being used on the machine you are logged in to.
Development of the Sun version of PADS Perform has been discontinued since early 1997. Only the Windows NT version, PADS PowerPCB, is being supported further.
