Designer v8.1 Service Pack 2 (SP2) Release Notes

Thank you for your interest in Actel's Designer physical implementation software v8.1 SP2.

What's New

This Service Pack provides a CS81 package update for the AGL030V2 and AGL030V5 device. Any existing adb files will be invalidated and the design must be re-compiled and run through layout. You should save constraints from your existing design prior to re-compile, and import them back in to the project after re-compile.

SP2 includes Designer v8.1 SP1 contents.

You must have Designer v8.1 installed before installing SP2. After installing SP2, your Designer version will be 8.1.3.1.

  Note: This service pack is only offered for Windows OS.

NOTE: If Libero IDE/Designer v8.1 installation directory was renamed or re-mapped to a different drive letter after installation, Libero IDE/Designer v8.1 SP2 will not be able locate it due to a missing browse to feature.

If the installation directory of Libero IDE v8.1 must be renamed, make sure the path is consistent with the PATH value for registry keys: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Actel\Libero\v8.1 (for Libero IDE) or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Actel\Designer\v8.1 (for Designer).
