Minutes from the 10/06/04 LCLS SLC IOC meetings.

Next Meeting: 10/13/04, 9:30am, in B5, second floor.

(1) Control System Down - IOC needs to keep track that no ack is done
    and re-update database later.  Debbie.

(2) Proxy Down Test - test that reconnect when proxy comes back up, also
    need channel access stop and restart.  Diane.

(3) Global Section Major and Minor ID - send down to IOC.  IOC will be
    like a PEPII ethernet micro in that no updates allowed from the IOC
    until a successful "IPL".  Tony.

(4) CMLOG - want ability to direct messages to individual SCPs.  Source
    will be added to various places (iocCmlog, fwdBro, VMS side).  RonM.

(5) CMLOG - test log-only.  RonM.

(6) MSG Task Prototype - after looking at the proxy source, Diane discovered 
    that binding is not needed.  No longer have the 2 min wait.

(7) EPICS-to-VMS time conversion and difference routines needed (net_get_time
    and difft* equivalents) - Diane

(8) DB Task Prototype - working on ST0 offset conversions.  Can't use
    anything in dirty_zero.c.  Can't change structures.  Debbie says it's
    a lot of tedious work.

(9) Magnet Task - Dayle is sorting through magnet messages.
