    BSAC Device Control States From MikeZ:
    * offline = no hardware or cabling
    * maintenance = not used in high level applications, HW/SW testing
    * checkout = used in high level apps, HW/SW tests OK, OPS testing
    * online = ready to use, OKed by OPS

    Bob Dalesio says no SCP wire-scanner support.

(4) Magnet:

    Kristi will have a design review soon.  She is adding a stringout record
    per magnet device for status.  Kicker uses LGPS and SMPS and gated ADC
    for pulse amplitude.
