DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE
Motorola is pleased to announce the MCF5280,
MCF5281 and MCF5282
ColdFire Integrated
Microcontrollers (mask L95M) have achieved
Industrial Tier MC qualification.
The newly MC qualified family of MCF528x ColdFire microcontrollers
is fabricated at Taiwan Semiconductor
Manufacturing Corporation
(TSMC), while assembly and test take place in
the Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia (KLM) facility.
ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTIC SUMMARY

CHANGED PART IDENTIFICATION
Parts were previously sampled by ordering a
Motorola part number
with a PCF prefix. MC qualified devices can be
ordered using
Motorola part numbers with an MCF prefix. Device
markings will also
be updated to reflect the change in orderable
part number.
