How to setup mail relay

Setup our mail forwarding from LCLSCA to SCCS mail server

On a LCLSCA server:

1)    login as root

2)    stop sendmail if running:
    a.    service sendmail status
    b.    service sendmail stop

3)    stop sendmail from starting at boot
    a.    chkconfig sendmail off
    b.    chkconfig --list sendmail
            sendmail        0:off   1:off   2:off   3:off   4:off   5:off   6:off

4)    setup our st.smtpprox mail relay
    a.    cp /usr/local/admin/scripts/st.smtpprox /etc/init.d/
        i.    chmod a+x /etc/init.d/st.smtpprox
    b.    add it to chkconfig
        i.    chkconfig --add st.smtpprox
        ii.    chkconfig --list st.smtpprox
              st.smtpprox     0:off   1:off   2:on    3:on    4:on    5:on    6:off
    c.    start st.smtpprox
        i.     service st.smtpprox start
        ii.    service st.smtpprox status
    d.    Test
        i.    cat /etc/init.d/st.smtpprox | mail -s "mail relay test"
        ii.    You should receive mail on your desktop
