MPSL Algorithm Compiler

The MPS algorithm compiler, is a software program which processes MPS algorithm files, and outputs two files necessary to run the new MPS system.

One, the `object' file, is a binary representation of the algorithm file, which is in a format which makes it easy for an MPS `Algorithm Processor' (AP) to quickly assimilate data from SLC devices and compute a safe repetition rate. In the case of the Supervisory AP, the computation's input is the repetition rate recommendation of all the APs.

The second, the `port' file, is also binary. It lists all of the MIL-1553 data port values an AP may encounter when processing the object file.
