For both Solaris and Linux, start with the minimal setup provided by SCS (/usr/local/bin/environ). Then:
setenv EPICS_VER R3.13.6
source /afs/slac/package/epics/script/ENVS.cshIf testing with cmlog, also source the proper cmlog setup file:
ESD (Solaris): source /afs/slac/package/cmlog/prod/cmlogSetup
ESD (Linux): source /afs/slac/package/cmlog/prod_linux/cmlogSetupBuild Details
Before building, first set the minimal setup provided by SCS (/usr/local/bin/environ). Then set the following environment variable:
setenv HOST_ARCH <solaris or Linux>The build is done on public machines at SLAC. The Solaris 8 build is done on slcsun1 and the Red Hat 7.2 build is done on noric. The /afs/slac/package/epics/R3.13.6 area is built non-shareable.
