Or buy one for ea ch device? Are the workstations Linux or Windows? How many? Are the UPS's for line conditioning or to keep up the workstations? Chances are if you don't have power to the workstations, then you probably don't have power down the Linac. We use the SmartUPS2200rm which is a rack mount device. IF YOU WANT THE UPS TO SHUTDOWN THE LINUX WORKSTATIONS WHEN POWER IS LOST THEN YOU WILL NEED AN AP9630 MANAGEMENT CARD FOR THE UPS. This card will allow the UPS to sh utdown the workstations safely to avoid corruption. www.apc.com is your best resource. If you know how many watts each device needs, then you can figure out what UPS best fits your needs. APC has a UPS selector that will show you what you need.
