Beam Physics at SLAC!

Since its beginning in 1963 SLAC has been a world leader in the physics, technology, and construction of electron accelerators and is home to the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory, (SSRL), the Stanford Linear Collider (SLC), and the B-Factory (PEP-II). We are currently pursuing the design of the Next Linear Collider (NLC) as a member of an international collaboration.
