Description of Current Research Interests:
My current interest involves the application of modern AI techniques to the world of accelerator/ring control and commissioning. Examples are: automatic component calibration and error diagnostics for model-based accelerator control, automatic beam-based system for analyzing accelerator misalignment problems, intelligent automated tuning systems based on hybrid neural networks, and adaptive nonlinear model predictive control for accelerator feedback systems.
At the momment I'm working with Pavilion Technologies Inc. to develop robust optimal adaptive system identification and nonlinear model predictive control strategy for accelerator feedback control systems.
