Mission statement

• Design lattice including linear optics, tolerance analysis, and nonlinear particle dynamics.

• Participate in the operation and improve accelerator performance using advanced methods of data analysis.

• Study the limitations of accelerator such as beam-beam effects.

• Develop and maintain object-oriented software tools for designing, commissioning, and operating accelerators.
