Overview
Site view allows you to manage the pages in your website efficiently. Site view provides you with a hierarchial or outline organization for webpages in the site. This is also the best place to add, remove, and rearrange pages in the site.

Site View, Structure Tab Selected
You can view the website as a collection of pages arranged in a tree hierarchy, with the home page as the root, or you can view the pages arranged in outline form. I’ll briefly cover the hierarchial arrangement given with the Structure tab selected. Use whichever format is most convenient.
Above is a the Site view for part of this direcitons website. Each yellow icon represents one page, and each page has an editable page name. The page name appears in the banner at the top of each page. The page outlined in blue, currently Using N(etObjects), is the selected site.
Note that the Introduction page is at the very top, while the pages that follow directly from Introduction, including Getting S(tarted) and Links, branch directly from Introduction. Similarly, the pages that are linked from Using N(etObjects) branch, such as General (Procedures), Main Too(lbar) and Site View, branch from Using N(etObjects).
The little black arrows allow you to more easily manage your site. Clicking on the normal arrow hides all pages that branch from the page above the arrow, and turn the normal arrow into an arrow with a plus sign . Clicking on the latter will reveal the hidden pages.
With the Using NetObjects page selected, if I now click on the New Page button, then a new page will be created under Using NetObjects.
As you can see, a new page called Untitled 21 has been created. If I click on words “Untitled 21,” I can edit the name of the page.
To remove the page, either right click on the page and select “Delete Page(s)”, go to Edit->Delete Page(s), or simply hit “Delete” on your keyboard. You’ll need to confirm that you really want to remove the page.
You can also rearrange the structure of your site from this view. Simply click and hold on a page, then drag the page to its new location.
Finally, let’s discuss the terminology used by NetObjects to relate pages to one another.
The terms on the left never change. The Home Page is always the topmost page, which is Introduction in this site. The First Level always consists of all the children of the Home Page, i.e. all the pages in the level directly below the home page.
The terms on the right change depending on the selected page. The currently selected page is Getting Started. All the pages on its level - itself, Using SourceSafe, Using NetObjects, and Links - compose the Current Level. All the parents of pages in the Current Level - here, only Introduction - form the Parent Level. Last, all the children of the selected page - Installing SourceSafe, Installing NetObjects, and Working Folder Setup - form the Child Level.
