Page View, Page Design Tab Selected
Page view with the Page Design tab selected is where you’ll be editing pages. At the very top is the main toolbar. On the left side is the standard toolbar, plus any other toolbars you would like to use. At the top and left next to the toolbars are rulers. You’ll also note that the x and y coordinates along with the width and height of the currently selected object are displayed at the bottom of the screen. In the center is the editing window.
A webpage in NetObjects can be divided into two distinct parts, (master) border and layout.
As indicated by the black outline in the image above, the Layout area is found in the middle of the editing window. You’ll notice in the top and left rulers that there are three small grey markers . The first two markers of each ruler delimit the boundaries of the Layout area. The last markers of the top and left rulers indicate the rightmost and bottom boundaries of the page, respectively.
In general, you should place all of your content -- text, images, whatnot -- into the Layout portion of the page, unless you are specifically editing the borders.
