Overview

I have already spoken in some detail about creating new pages in the discussion about Site view.  I’ll rehash the main points here.

While you can create a new page anyhere the New Page button is available in the main toolbar, you probably won’t know exactly where you created the page unless you create the page will in Site view.

Creating and Deleting Pages

  1. Switch to Site View, Structure tab selected.

  2. Select the page under which you want to create a new page. In the picture below, the page Using N(etObjects) is selected, indicated by the blue highlighting.

  3. Click on the New Page button in the main toolbar.  A new page, here entitled Untitled21, has been created underneath Using N(etObjects).

  4. By clicking on the words “Untitled21”, I can edit the name of the page.  The name of each page shows up in the banner at the top of the page, and also on navigation bar buttons.

  5. Double-click on the new page, or select the new page and go to Page view, to edit the page.

  6. To delete a page, right-click on the page and select “delete”, or select the page and choose Edit->Delete Page(s) from the menubar.
