Hardware Notes

  1. 591, 811, PI - The relays internal to the Tuner Driver (K1,K2,K3,& K4) would have their common source changed from -24V to GND.

    Changed K1 to K4 com to GND 4-14-99.

    Removed lemo input beam presents modification.

     Tie +24V to park position input at cross connects. 

     

  2. An internal resistor to pull to ground should be added to the Tune/Operate Input and the Feedback On/Off input in the GVC module.

    Modified the GVC module to take 24VDC input for Tune/Operate and On/Off.

     

  3. Gap Voltage Summer output J5 should connect to J5-A,B,C on the GVC Module

    Connection made in the cross connects. 

     

  4. Internal relay K1 (Loop open/close) of Phase Lock Amplifier 206-416 needs to have -24VDC side of relay tied to GND. 

    Changed Modification board E from J4-G to J4-H and F from +24V to J4-G J4-H=Gnd

     

  5. Reflected power interlock reset needs to take 24V input, not 15V input. 

    Changed J5-P from +24V @ E20 to Gnd @ E22 

    Added 10k ohm in series to E5 to operate Reset from 24VDC 

    Changed J5-M from +15VDC @ E19 to Gnd @ E22

     

  6. VCO locked/unlocked status is (15VDC needs to be 0 / 24VDC 

    Will see if A-B will read +15V as high - YES

     

  7. VCO lock/unlock input is 5VDC needs to be 24VDC 

    Add 10k series resistor to J2-A input, add 2.2k shunt resistor across CR2?

    Remove R26? pull-up resistor
