LER QFB1R03 one of a pair of arc 3 magnets (QDB1R03, QFB1R03) used to lauch a beta function bump to enhance the effect of the SCY3 sextupoles.
The LER IP vertical chromaticity correction is achieved using SCY3 sextupoles in arcs 1 and 3. The beta function enhancement at these magnets is achieved on the outboard side of the IP using the QDB1 and QFB1 magnets. The QDB1/QFB1 pair is then followed by five ordinary arc quadrupoles (QD,QF,QD,QF,QD) in the sextupole region, and the "beta bump" is then removed using the individually powered QFS magnets closer to the straight.
