Restarting the TV-Broadcast EPICS Display

The broadcasted display is running on MCCX42 in the foyer.

1. Optionally, reboot the NCD, MCCX42, which is located on the upper shelf at the left end of the foyer. To reboot: power-cycle the small black box (or reboot from the console window by typing Alt-Setup, & select File, Reboot, Yes).

After the reboot is complete, MCCX42's screen will be blank, but the terminal is configured as a CUD. It does NOT require a login. It will accept the EPICS display with no further action.

2. Restart the EPICS display from the SCP: select

· Index

· Special Display

· CUD Panel

· EPICS CUD Panel

3. From the PEP-II Management Window: select

· Display = MCCX42

· Type = STRI1 (strip tool 1)

· Function = Start

· EXIT

4. Resize the NCD window so that it fits on the TV display: while checking the TV monitor: use mccx42's mouse and drag the EPICS window to make it smaller.
