The A-Line Reference Magnet ( also known as B-100, located in MCC) is powered in series with the A-Line bend magnets. The magnet power supply had difficulty coming on in Sep-99. Investigation showed damage from arcing (melted connections between coils, conductor burned through to the water cooling passage).
