A few topics in hadronic B decays are discussed, related to nonleptonic
B decays. i) factorization is expected to hold in nonleptonic B -> D(*)X
decays, from perturbative QCD and large Nc QCD. We discuss possible
factorization tests, which can distinguish between these two mechanisms,
using exclusive and inclusive B decays. ii) In has been proposed to
extract \sin(2\beta+\gamma) from time-dependent measurements in B decays
mediated by tree level b->cud processes. The existing methods are reviewed,
and a new method is proposed, which makes use of time-dependent and
angular measurements in B->D* a_1 decays.
