At a future e+e- linear colliders a large number of W bosons and t quarks
will be produced. In addition to the ultimate precision on top and W
masses, measurements of the couplings of the W bosons to quarks will
provide further insight into the flavour physics of the CKM-matrix. 

The best way of measuring the top and W masses and the CKM matrix elements
from W decays will be reviewed, in view of what the LEP2 experience has
taught us.
