Information about SLAC Experimental Seminar
- What:
The SLAC Experimental Seminars series hosts speakers from all over
the world to talk about the latest development in particle physics experiments.
It also extends to astrophysics based on the wide range of research activities
in the laboratory. Though designed primarily for experimental issues, it
frequently invites theorists.
- Whom:
Open to the entire SLAC and Stanford community.
The primary audience is experimental particle physicists.
Not a few theorists and astrophysicists can usually be found in the audience.
- When:
Tuesdays at 12:30pm-1:30pm (50 min talk + 10 min Q&A).
Date and time can change, occassionally to enable the participation of guest
speakers with ongoing direct conflicts.
- Where:
Orange Room in the Central Lab. (Bldg. 40).
Location can change occasionally.
