ACD track-matching and threshold trending from Muon runs

We runs scripts to extract ACD track-matching efficiency information. We do this by using: The test points here are the "muon" tests list in the full list of muon run blocks

Track Matching Inefficiency:
Fraction of extrapolated tracks
that do not have hits in associated ACD element.
Since there is no track selection, and no allowance for
tracking errors, this is more a measure of the track sample
than the ACD performance.
Veto Fraction:
Fraction of ACD hits that are above the veto theshold.
This depends on:
  • The zero-suppression threshold
  • The veto threshold
  • The relative rates of low energy x-rays to MIPS
  • Coherent noise above the ZS threshold
Single Hit Fraction:
Fraction of ACD hits where only 1 PMT fired
This depends on:
  • The zero-suppression threshold dispersion
  • Coherent noise above the ZS threshold
  • Rate of low energy x-rays very close to threshold
Single Veto Fraction:
Fraction of ACD hits where only 1 PMT has above veto
This depends on:
  • The veto threshold dispersion
  • Rate of low energy signals very close to threshold
