ACD High Range Pedestal calibrations
Purpose and use
To measure the baseline PHA signal (ie, the PHA value when there is no physics signal) in the high range for each electronics channel.
The cno threshold, high range calibrations require correct high range pedestals to set the zero point of the signal.
This calibration is used in simulation to provide realistic PHA values.
Required inputs
This calibration requires the second set of 1k events from an AcdPedestal lci run.
Descriptions of algorithm for one PMT
- Collect PHA for all events w/ only pedestal or solicited trigger condition.
- Take mean and rms.
- Reject outliers beyond 5*rms.
- Take mean and rms.
