E160 targets: discussed LiD, which is 1 cm diamter. Decided should 
make hole target also 1 cm diameter, like LiD. Decided should 
Surround the LiD with Be or carbon, of equivalent gm/cm2 as LiD.

Polairzed target: issues of dilution factor and diameter were
discussed. Don will work on materials list, and think about butanol.
Target review questions to be finished soon.
DOE funding is uncertain. 

E160 Review. Comments were generally positive. Some issues of finances
were raised. Comments should soon be on the web.
 
E160 Spectrometer: Peter has some ideas to improve absorber/collimator
to make easier to build. Needs GEANT simulations. 

Beam dump magnets. Will we need New vac. chambers? Ray's detector needs
to be disigned, taking this into account (he's away until Sep. 7).
When will copper order for magnet coils go in soon?
Problem getting designers: Bill working on it. Scott DeBarger away
this week and next. Decided to have regular meeting this coming Wed.
