Compton target: Don looking into Oxygen. Might need liguid
helium tmp. Nothing else look too good, compared to iron.

Compton Polarimeter: Peter did more simulations with single
electrons and iron target. Looks reasonable. Sent to
Yerevan so they can compare with their studies. 

Photon Beam: layout proceding. C37 may get moved down-beam
a few meters to accomodate dump magnets. Roger looking
into using a 3-deg magnet (like A-line) for sweep magnet.
Perry, Zen, other starting to meet every Thursday to 
work on goniometer commisioning.

E160 target: would like computer computer control. Detailed
design beginning.

E160 physics: Miao Wang (slowly) getting started on fitting
inelastic J/psi data.

E161 target heating: Don, Peter both get about 22 mW for 
1E9 photons. Worry about many low energy photons from crystal
(channeling, etc.) that could cause additional heating. 
S. African group is considering doing more detailed study
with Geant.

E160 Geant simulatons: Eugene hasn't started yet. Meanwhile,
Piotr found two bugs. Peter re-ran simulations: finds less
background of pions and protons, which may allow less
shielding and better resolution.

Collaboration meeting: next one should be in early June.
