E161 target: klytron order proceeding. Student starting
to learn NMR system. 

E160 spectrometer: Peter looked at TOSCA cals. for 2.2,
1.8, 1.4 m long wedge. 1.8 still looks best, but 1.4 m
also good. Mermaid calculations also arrived yesterday:
just getting started. Fields generally higher than
expected, but less uniform. Steve Guertin (UCLA) looking
into simulation program to finilize detectors. 
Miao Want (U. Mass) learning how to use ROOT to fit
data. 

E160 target: work coming along. 

E161 Simulation. Steve working in Herwig. Trying to
understand the various options for generating the
physics we want. "Best" option seems to give more
favorable signal/noise for E161.

Got Davis-Bacon exemption for ESA

Citizen Commitee Reviews: most reviews will be in May
(earthwuake, radiation safety, HEEK). Being set up

CRDF issued final award for $60K for 2 years for
the Yerevan group to work on the photon beam.
Papers now being signed, etc.
