SLAC uses the Load Sharing Facility (LSF) to schedule and control batch jobs.

on all the commands. Or use the man pages on
High Performance Computing web page has more SLAC specific writeups.
bsub command is used to submit jobs. Say
for details. Some simple examples are:
bsub -q express "cd $E155SRC; ls -l"
bsub -q long $E155BIN/opt.exe
bsub -q express -m pinto45 $E155_COM/e155cleanup noprompt
bsub -c 120/slac "cd; rm *"
Submitted jobs can be monitored with the
Start up the GUI by typing
xlsbatch &. From the
submit and then fill in the blanks.
Many of the entries have reasonable defaults. Job status is updated
periodically in the GUI.
